GEMMA SALVESTRO

 Gemma has had a long and very active participation in all areas of Equestrian sport for her entire life. She specialises in showcasing ponies, aiming to show that their abilities and appeal equal bigger horses. She currently competes a team of 4 horses.

 She lives in Strathalbyn South Australia and is a High school teacher. In her small amount of free time, she is the Secretary and Publicity Officer for the SA Welsh Pony Regional Promotional Group. This role is a huge commitment for Gemma as the organisation runs 5 shows each year which she is instrumental in organising.

 She is passionate about the future of her sport and opportunities for members to show the Welsh breed. Her interest in the breed has seen her work towards becoming a qualified Panel judge for the Welsh society also.

Super Welsh pony, ‘Primrose Park Top Of The Morn’ (Rumple) is 12.2hh

 He started off his career as a Showhunter Pony placing at the Royal Adelaide Show, and being super successful in breed shows including the Australian Ridden Championships Final and the International Welsh Show. He now competes in Eventing, showjumping and dressage with enormous success in all.

 Connemara cross, ‘Asham Mint’ (Fynnegan) is a 14.2hh.

 He is currently training up the levels in Eventing and is always high up in the leaderboard after dressage and showjumping. He is gaining confidence in the cross country phase.  He also competed at a breed show in January 2024 being Champion Led Partbred Connemara and Champion Ridden Connemara.

 Welsh A pony, ‘Rivington Puff’(Puffin) is 12hh

 Puffin has been incredibly successful since he was a foal competing in Welsh and APSB, often being Supreme Led of the Show. He won at the Welsh Nationals and was Reserve Champion at the International Welsh Show. He commenced his ridden career in 2023 winning a few Champion Welsh and Showhunter classes and started off 2024 winning Champion Led Welsh Gelding and Champion Ridden Welsh at a breed show. She has plans for a young child to take the reins on him to continue his ridden career.

 Welsh C, ‘London Park Red Robin’ (Fox) is a 12.3hh who is newer to the game.

 He started his competition career as a stallion with great success. Runner Up National Champion Ridden Welsh Hunter  and many wins both in hand and under saddle. He was champion at his first Ag show as a Showhunter and Supreme Ridden of the show at a breed show.

 Gemma has huge goals for all of her horses in the coming year, including competing interstate and qualify for national competitions with her multi discipline team. We are proud to be associated with and support Gemma as a brand Ambassador. She is a rider who represents all we look for as a positive role model in her sport.

 She has used pelletised wood stable bedding for years and loves the benefits in using Elite Equine Bedding in her stables for her 4 horses.

LINDSEY WARE

Lindsey Ware is an FEI Grand Prix rider based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
She has a variety of dressage horses in work, ranging from young horses at the start of their career, through to FEI level horses.

Lindsey’s aim is to train and develop her horses through to Grand Prix level, with the goal of qualifying and competing in the Olympic Games and World Equestrian Games.

She has competed at a range of large events across with success, including in CDI-W competitions at competitions such as Equitana, where she won the freestyle on her horse Aristede in 2022.

Lindsey is incredibly passionate about dressage, not only in training horses, but also training other riders as she coaches both young and adult riders to help them achieve their riding goals in the sport.

Her focus for this year is developing her business, Lindsey Ware Dressage, where she aims to grow her team of horses, help more riders in their riding journey, and also expand into breeding quality dressage horses.

LOLA ALAIA

Lola is a fierce competitor in the world of showing, trains her own horses while showing great sportsmanship and dedication where it matters. She is kind and loves to share her secrets of success paving the way for the next generation. 

Her recent wins have seen her shoot to stardom and qualifying for Australia’s highest level in showing, Nationals and Grand Nations!
